It operates from 85 VAC up to 265 VAC. The switching frequency starts at 22 kHz and is variable up to 50 kHz, avoiding audible noise in all operation modes. During light load and no-load conditions, the controller operates in a programmable low-frequency burst mode, enabling very low IC current consumption. The frequency jitter helps to reduce EMI, saving cost in the filter design. Finally, the high level of protections ensures safe operation and provides a robust and reliable power supply.
