This slide shows some test results of the TEA1721 demo board for 5 W applications. The average efficiency is about 77%, exceeding the Energy Star level. Furthermore, with a no-load power consumption of less than 10 mW, the TEA1721 shows world-class standby performance, much better than required by the current regulations. The upcoming EUP lot6 regulation requires power consumption of less than 500 mW at a load condition of 250 mW. The TEA1721 is already compliant to this regulation.
