The TEA172x family offers a series of products with power levels up to 5 W, 8 W and 11 W. Different burst frequencies can be selected depending on the application requirements. The lowest no-load power consumption can be achieved by selecting the lowest burst frequency value. Applications focused on very small size can use the highest burst frequency, enabling small size output capacitors. The TEA172x product family supports mobile USB chargers with and without USB cable, as it can compensate for the cable resistance, if needed. The products without cable compensation are the right choice for power supplies without output cables, such as major home appliances, consumer and industrial applications.
