The LTC3675’s I²C interface allows programming of many of the PMIC’s features. These features include: DC/DC converter on/off control, DC/DC output voltages, DC/DC switch slew rate, DC/DC operating modes, LED driver enable, LED brightness with up to 60dB gradation, and power-up sequencing. Refer to the product datasheet for specific information on programming. The 40V dual string LED driver can be used to regulate up to 25mA of current through two LED strings with up to ten white LEDs each. Using the I²C interface, the LED brightness can be controlled over a 60dB range. The LED driver is also configurable as a 750mA general-purpose boost converter if a LED driver is not needed.
