The LTC3675 device features eight channels: four high current, high efficiency synchronous step-down regulators at 1A, 1A, 500mA and 500mA; a high current, high efficiency 1A buck-boost regulator; a high current 1A synchronous boost regulator; a 40V dual string LED driver; and one always-ON 25mA low dropout linear regulator. Also included is power sequencing, dynamic voltage scaling control, which allows the DC/DC converter outputs to be changed “on the fly” using the I²C interface, a pushbutton interface controller for power-on control, and sequencing for well-behaved, predictable power-up. Available in a compact QFN package, the LTC3675 is a complete power management solution for general-purpose high-power applications in the portable, industrial, and medical market segments.
