Image of RECOM Power RPMB Series DC/DC Switching RegulatorsRECOM Power's RPMB series consists of 2 A and 3 A non-isolated surface mount switching regulators with up to 36 VDC input and can deliver up to 75 W. This series is extremely efficient with a rating of 94%, as well as an exceptionally wide operating ambient temperature range of -40°C to +100°C with derating. Both series come in a compact 12.0 mm x 12.0 mm x 3.75 mm package which is complete with six-sided shielding for optimal EMC performance and heat management. This power-dense converter is also fully protected against short circuit, overcurrent, and overtemperature conditions and can drive high capacitive loads of up to 0.2 F.

An evaluation board was developed for this series for convenient testing of the module within applications. Features such as the control ON/OFF, power good, and sensing functions can be easily evaluated. The evaluation board also comes with a Class B EMI filter.
