Paper Capacitors

KEMET introduces their paper capacitors for low frequency applications

Image of KEMET's Paper CapacitorsKEMET’s class X and class Y paper capacitors have temperature ratings ranging from 85ºC up to 115ºC. Capacitance values range from 0.001 - 0.6 µF with a voltage range of 250 VAC to 660 VAC dependent upon class. Also among KEMET’s paper portfolio are radial metallized impregnated paper capacitors rated up to 85ºC (DC) and 100ºC (DC) with a capacitance value range of 0.1 µF - 1 µF and a voltage range of 250 VDC to 1,000 VDC. Impregnated paper capacitors have a high dielectric constant excellent self-healing capabilities, and transient handling capability among other features. Paper capacitors also perform very well in mains-connected applications and other low frequency applications.
