Wurth Electronics' white LEDs come in two types: PLCC mid-low power and ceramic high power

Image of Wurth Electronic's White LEDsIn addition to visible, IR, and UV LEDs, Wurth Electronics provides white LEDs in two standard packages: the PLCC mid-low power and the ceramic high power.

The white PLCC LED series, WL-SWTP, is available in sizes 3014, 3022, and 5630 with five classic color temperature ranges: 2700 K, 3000 K, 4000 K, 5000 K, and 6000 K. The 3014 package size is a solution for indoor general and industrial lighting, and applications in retrofits and backlights. This is a replacement for the PLCC 3528 in T8/T5. The 3022 package size is suitable for all general lighting solutions. Compact size and high brightness make it the perfect solution for indoor and outdoor general lighting and display backlight applications. This series is also ideal for decoration strips, LED modules, and further decorative and entertainment lights. The largest LED is the PLCC 5630 product family, which is the ideal solution for LED tubes, ambient bulbs, and ceiling lights. Its high efficiency makes it the ideal substitution for compact fluorescent lights and industrial lighting applications. With a wide choice of color temperatures and high CRI, these can be used for illumination in private and industrial buildings.

The high power white LEDs in ceramic package size 3535 are the next generation of signal and general light sources. The high intensity makes them suitable for direct and indirect general lighting, display backlight, and signal lights. Industrial applications include high- and low-bay lighting. Because of their high efficiency they are ideal for outside applications. Due to the ceramic substrate structure and with good thermal management, their operating temperature range increases up to +125°C
