Reed Semiconductor's 10 A protection switch features an accurate current monitor and transient overcurrent blanking
Reed Semiconductor's RS31340B is a 2.97 V to 16 V active circuit protection device with an integrated MOSFET that limits the current and voltage to safe levels during fault conditions. The current limit level is set with a resistor between the load current monitor (ILM) and ground. The RS31340B offers overvoltage protection, limiting the output voltage to a fixed level or cutting off the output when an input overvoltage fault occurs.
