QPC2180 RF Switch

The Qorvo QPC2180 is a silicon-on-insulator (SOI) single-pole, eight-throw (SP8T) reflective RF switch intended for wideband signal routing from 0.1 GHz to 8 GHz. It is designed for applications requiring low insertion loss, high linearity, and fast switching across a broad frequency range. The device achieves typical insertion loss below 0.6 dB at 4 GHz while maintaining isolation greater than 30 dB, supporting clean channel separation in multi-path RF architectures. High linearity performance (typical IIP3 of 72 dBm) makes it suitable for systems handling high signal levels without introducing significant distortion.

The QPC2180 operates from a single supply and uses CMOS-compatible digital control, simplifying integration with modern baseband and control processors. It is packaged in a compact 3 mm x 3 mm overmolded QFN with internally matched 50 Ω RF ports and no requirement for external DC blocking capacitors when no external DC is present on the RF lines.
