MP5470 Power Management IC

Monolithic Power Systems' MP5470 is a complete power management IC that integrates four high-efficiency step-down DC/DC converters (3 A, 3 A, 2 A, and 2 A) and a flexible logic interface. The device has a constant-on-time (COT) control that provides fast transient response and the programmable switching frequency (up to 1.6 MHz) reduces the external inductor and capacitor size greatly. Full protection features include undervoltage lockout (UVLO), overcurrent protection (OCP), overvoltage protection (OVP), and thermal warning/shutdown. The device’s output voltage is adjustable through the I²C bus or can be preset by the three-time programmable multi-time programmable (MTP) e-fuse and the power on/off sequence is programmable by the MTP.  The MP5470 IC requires a minimal number of external components and is available in a space-saving QFN-22 (3 mm x 4 mm) package.
