Hybrid Polymer +125°C Radial Crown SMD Capacitors – PHS223/PHV223 Series

The PHS223 and PHV223 series hybrid radial crown capacitors from KEMET, a YAGEO company, have extremely high ripple current and ultra-low ESR conditioned by a highly conductive polymer (PEDOT/PSS).  The polymer system creates an electrical pathway between the anodic oxide layer and the cathode through a mechanical separator paper. The winding is impregnated with a liquid electrolyte that adds to the self-healing features of the capacitor.

The surface mount form factor is available in horizontal and vertical mounting options. The capacitors are reflow capable. High vibration resistance can be achieved without clamping due to the surface mount termination.
