Jauch’s Li-SOCl2 batteries are available in many different sizes and forms and can be used in a diverse range of end products. At 3.6 volts, the cell voltage of Li-SOCI2 batteries is significantly higher than the voltage level of other primary battery types. This voltage level is kept constant almost throughout the entire discharge period of the battery. The Li-SOCl2 cell chemistry stands out from the series of non-rechargeable cells and is superior to all other primary cells in terms of energy density with values up to 710 Wh/Kg. This density is higher than that of all other primary cells, making Li-SOCI2 batteries particularly suitable for applications with low power requirements over a long period of time. The longevity of the battery chemistry is demonstrated not only in use but also during storage. Due to the extremely low self-discharge rate of just 1% per year, these batteries can also be stored over a much longer period. These Li-SOCI2 batteries comply with all necessary guidelines and fulfill the legal requirements. They are also compliant with the European REACH regulation and IEC60086-4 and are certified to UL1642.
