Ideal-tek’s PTFE coated tweezers are recommended when specimen material is fragile or needs scratch resistance
Ideal-tek’s PTFE coated tweezers have a solvent-based liquid coating formulated with special blends of fluoropolymers and other high-performance resins to improve toughness and abrasion resistance at extreme conditions.
The PTFE coating reduces the rate of heat during critical cryo work and reduces the corrosive action of acids and bases on tweezers tips. PTFE coated tweezers are recommended when specimen material is fragile or needs scratch resistance.
