EPCOS designs and develops a series of MKT film capacitors for AC applications

B3293X Series Heavy Duty CapacitorsEPCOS offers a series of MKT film capacitors distinguished by their great ruggedness and very low capacitance drift. Even after a 2000-hour test at 85°C, 85 percent relative air humidity, and 290 VAC, their maximum capacitance change is less than 10 percent.

The MKT film capacitors of the B3293 series cover a capacitance range from 0.1 µF to 10 µF and are designed for a nominal voltage of 305 VAC to IEC 60384-14. Their maximum operating temperature is 105°C. The types with capacitances of up to 2.2 µF have X2 safety certification (IEC 60384-14 / EN 60384-14).
