It adds mesh-networking capability to BT Smart. Highly secure and robust, it uses encryption and authentication, sends data on three channels, and co-exists well with Wi-Fi, enabling plug-and-play where no router or AP is required. It lowers cost and simplifies networking to enable the Internet of Things (IoT) to become a reality.
