CQ2xx Current Sensor

AKM Semiconductor offers their CQ2xx series current sensors

Image of AKM CQ2xx Current SensorAKM Semiconductor CQ-20xx, CQ-223x, and CQ-233x are open-type current sensors using a Hall sensor which outputs the analog voltage proportional to the AC/DC current. Quantum-well InAs (Indium Arsenide) ultra-thin film is used as the Hall sensor, which enables the high-accuracy and high-speed current sensing. Simple AI-Shell package with the Hall sensor, magnetic core, and primary conductor realizes the space-saving and high reliability. Moreover, CQ-223x, and CQ-233x packages are designed to be certified to IEC/UL safety standards, which will be required in industrial applications.

  • Low noise output: 1.2 mVRMS (typ. CQ-223x, CQ-233x) ,  2.1 mVRMS (max: CQ-20xx)

  • 5 V (CQ-20xx, CQ-233x) and 3.3 V (CQ-223x) single power supply

  • Low variation and low temperature drift of sensitivity and offset voltage
