ISODAMP™ C-1000 Series Elastomers

Aearo Technologies' damped thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs) reduce noise and vibration in general use applications

Image of Aearo Technologies' ISODAMP™ C-1000 Series Aearo Technologies' E-A-R™ ISODAMP elastomers provide high-performance shock, vibration, and noise control. These highly damped materials exhibit extremely low rebound characteristics, ensuring very low amplification at resonance and rapid settling to equilibrium after shock or vibration input. The standard configurations include isolation grommets (with or without metal inserts), bushings and rings, fan mounts, and more.

The ISODAMP C-1000 series elastomers include the iconic E-A-R blue damping material with a loss factor of up to 1.0. There are multiple Type A durometers available including C-1002 (54), C-1105 (63), and C-1100 (71). These materials are denoted in the suffix of the product nomenclature with C-1002 as "-1", C-1105 as "-2", and C-1100 as "-3".
