Flat Flex Cables (FFC, FPC) FFC cables are a series of single flat conductor wires placed parallel to each other and molded together. The cables have a pitch of 0.050” (1.27mm) or 0.100” (2.54mm) with the number of contact ranging from 2 to 55 in lengths from 5’ (1.52m) to 500’ (152.4m). The FFC cables have assemblies with a contact termination of receptacle to receptacle, receptacle to solder tab, or solder tab to solder tab.
